ICE Agent Told U.S. Citizen “Bang, Bang, You’re Dead, Liberal”
Court filing reveals shocking claim about federal agent’s behavior at Chicago protest, reigniting debate over ICE’s militarization and lack of accountability.

A new federal court filing has alleged that an agent with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement aimed a gun at a U.S. citizen during a peaceful protest in Chicago and said, “Bang, bang — you’re dead, liberal.” The case, filed in the Northern District of Illinois, challenges not just the behavior of one agent, but the expanding boundaries of federal power in domestic policing.
According to the filing, the incident occurred in October 2025 outside an ICE facility in the Little Village neighborhood, a site that’s become a regular flashpoint for demonstrations against immigration enforcement. Witnesses describe the scene as tense but nonviolent until federal agents advanced toward protesters. The filing alleges that one ICE officer, dressed in tactical gear and carrying an assault rifle, broke ranks, raised his weapon toward the crowd, and made the threat while pointing it directly at a civilian.
The plaintiff’s legal team argues that the incident constitutes not only excessive use of force but also a violation of the citizen’s First and Fourth Amendment rights. Attorneys say the case tests the limits of federal immunity, the same legal shield that has long protected ICE agents and other federal officers from accountability in civil suits.
This is not the first time ICE has faced allegations of violence or intimidation against civilians. During the Trump regime’s deployment of federal officers to U.S. cities, multiple lawsuits accused ICE and DHS agents of unlawfully detaining protesters, using unmarked vehicles, and operating with little to no oversight. Those events, many of which were documented in Portland and Seattle, laid the groundwork for the current legal fight over how far federal enforcement powers can stretch under the guise of “public safety.”
Civil rights organizations say the Chicago case is emblematic of a broader trend: ICE’s transformation from an immigration enforcement agency into a quasi-paramilitary force. “When you militarize a civilian agency, this is what you get, soldiers without a war, aiming rifles at citizens,” said one Chicago-based activist involved in the protests. “We’ve seen ICE agents behave as though they are above the law. This time, they might finally have to answer for it.”
The agency has previously defended its officers as operating within federal authority and “in accordance with their training,” a phrase that now rings increasingly hollow as videos and affidavits continue to emerge showing violent or threatening encounters.
The filing underscores how, in 2025, political identity alone can become a trigger for violence from those sworn to uphold the law, as fascism becomes the ruling doctrine of the USA.
I fully expect to see a modern-day Boston Massacre before this is over.
