At Least Seven Killed as Israel Strike Targets Two Weddings in Gaza
The Israeli regime bombed a wedding celebration in Gaza City on Saturday, killing at least six people and wounding 15 more, Al Jazeera’s correspondent reporting on the attack from inside the Gaza Strip.
Two missiles struck tents set up for the wedding. The shrapnel did not stop there. Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud reported that projectiles tore through the surrounding area at high speed, into a school next door being used as a displacement shelter packed with civilian families. Women and children are believed to be among the dead, while the toll is expected to rise.
Casualties have been transferred to al-Shifa Hospital.

This is the second wedding-related killing in Gaza today. Earlier this morning, Muhand Othman Farwana was killed in a separate Israeli airstrike in Khan Younis, hours before he was due to marry.
The Gaza Center for Human Rights documented 534 Palestinians killed between January 1 and June 5 of this year, nearly seven every 48 hours, under a ceasefire agreement that the Israeli regime has now violated more than 900 times since it took effect last October.

My heart is broken for the people of Gaza. These tragedies must STOP! I am ashamed to have a president that does not know the meaning of “ceasefire”.
More Israeli genocidal crimes sanctioned by Trump. 😔
