Each day brings new Israeli ceasefire violations that go unspoken in international coverage, what’s worse, is that there are ongoing violations of international law in other areas, like Syria.
While governments call for calm and media outlets talk about fragile ceasefires, there is one clear exception to this chatter, Israel. The most violent government in the Middle East gets an exception from our collective media, because they’re friendly to our governments.
Israeli forces continue to target homes, civilians, and infrastructure in defiance of the declared ceasefires in Gaza and Lebanon, and they treat international law as if it’s simply a guideline where we can pick and choose the elements we decide to follow or ignore
